bluebox - Compact Digital Mixer/Recorder

Bluebox is the portable digital audio mixer that lets you get the most out of your electronic music gear. Connect your eurorack, sampler, drum machine and synthesizer outputs to 6 stereo, 3.5 mm TRS inputs and map them to 12 mono tracks or 6 stereo tracks – all with independent control for recording and playback. It’s that keyboard mixer with live performance features that you always hoped someone would make.

Connect the output of your electronic music gear to bluebox, and then route each track independently to the three outputs and effects sends. Each track offers control of volume, gain, 4 band parametric EQ, pan, mute and solo functions. Apply high-quality global reverb and delay effects along with 4 band EQ per track to add new depth to your sound with total control to quickly tweak incoming audio or track playback as needed.

With bluebox you can record independent tracks or the Main mix using a standard microSD card. Capture your jam session for later review, or record the ultimate mix of the tracks for your song.

Bluebox’s compact case (only 14 x 13 x 5 cm) lets you tuck it into a crowded tabletop studio or throw it in your pack for the next gig.

Interact with the dynamic visual interface on the 3.5” touchscreen along with physical knobs, navigation buttons and transport buttons to quickly access the most important functions. MIDI input and output allow you to sync the clock with external gear for synchronized effects and metronome.

Waverazor Dual Oscillator Module Software Editor Now Available

MOK has released a dedicated software editor for their Waverazor Dual Oscillator module. This standalone application enables the user to make new oscillator configurations while auditioning changes entirely within the computer. It allows for quick access to all the available sound editing parameters, including the ability to create custom modulation routes. When editing is finished, the configuration files can be copied directly to microSD card for easy transfer to the module.

"It's really convenient to be able to work on my wave-slicing anytime, even when I'm away from my modular system,” said Taiho Yamada, co-founder at MOK. “And I like that it's possible to hook up a MIDI controller while I’m sound designing in order to set new pitch references if I want."

bitbox mk2 – Intuitive Sampling Module

Bitbox mk2 delivers powerful sampling and mangling for Eurorack. With this module you can add recording, sample playback, clip launching, slicing, granular sounds and musically intelligent looping capabilities to your Eurorack rig. With a 3.5 inch touchscreen, bitbox mk2 makes easy work of selecting, editing, and tweaking your samples. You can stream large samples of up to 4 GB file size straight from the microSD card. Interact with other musical components via CV and MIDI. Tweak your configurations to get them just right, then save them to multiple presets for future reuse. With the new bitbox mk2 hardware, you can now do more with the new more powerful processor.

Fxbox – Performance Effects Module - Series 1 Module

Fxbox is the performance effects module for eurorack. Fxbox combines up to 16 realtime effects in each of two effects chains with controls from the touch screen, continuous knobs and external modulators. Use the XY pad to control two different aspects of the sound at once. Use the internal step sequencer to create tricked out, remix style effects. Create complex layers and builds using the touch screen to isolate the individual effects.

Fxbox is great for breathing life into pads and tones as well as introducing alternate timing and variety to rhythmic parts. It relies on an external clock signal or MIDI to perform in time with your music. Fxbox comes with 50 factory presets and an unlimited number of user presets.

Because bitbox is a Series 1 module, you can swap out the bitbox firmware for other series 1 module firmware quickly and easily.  This means you can switch to fxbox or synthbox firmware simply by signing up at forum.1010music.com, downloading the new firmware and following the instructions on the forum.  You can also download the latest bitbox firmware to get new features and updates. It’s like getting three modules in 1 with available upgrades!

Waverazor Dual Oscillator Module

The Waverazor Dual Oscillator is a result of a special collaboration between 1010music and MOK.

One Waverazor Eurorack oscillator can contain up to 8 wave slices, creating a multi-segment “Frankenstein” waveform that produces extended harmonic content beyond any single wave shape. Each individual slice has independent control over wave pitch, volume, phase and DC offset, allowing a single oscillator to contain a multitude of timbral colors. Even the “Razor” itself can be adjusted, with parameters for its own slice frequency, step size multiplier and duty cycle.

The Waverazor Dual Oscillator module provides a central waveform display that allows you to visualize the output. There’s an audio input for slicing up any sound you like. Four endless knobs make it possible to morph multiple parameters at once, while the touch screen enables X/Y performance controllers that allow you to manipulate the sound with the swipe of your finger. Top it all off with 20 modulation CV inputs for complete sonic insanity!

MX4 – Buffered MIDI Multiple

The MX4 Buffered MIDI Multiple by 1010music serves a very simple but useful purpose: it takes in a single MIDI input and repeats it in real time to four MIDI outputs. The end result is you can now control four times as many devices from a single MIDI source.

The MX4 uses TRS minijacks for handy connection directly between the following devices:

  • All 1010music modules, including MX4, bitbox, and fxbox
  • The Arturia BeatStep Pro
  • Novation products, including the Launch Pad Pro

The MX4 includes two MIDI adapters to connect with any equipment using the MIDI standard, 5-pin DIN connector, two TRS cables for MIDI patching and a standard power ribbon cable for connecting to your eurorack.
