Fxbox – Performance Effects Module - Series 1 Module

Fxbox is the performance effects module for eurorack. Fxbox combines up to 16 realtime effects in each of two effects chains with controls from the touch screen, continuous knobs and external modulators. Use the XY pad to control two different aspects of the sound at once. Use the internal step sequencer to create tricked out, remix style effects. Create complex layers and builds using the touch screen to isolate the individual effects.

Fxbox is great for breathing life into pads and tones as well as introducing alternate timing and variety to rhythmic parts. It relies on an external clock signal or MIDI to perform in time with your music. Fxbox comes with 50 factory presets and an unlimited number of user presets.

Toolbox – Sequencer and Function Generator Eurorack Module - Series 2 Module

Toolbox is a musically intelligent control module capable of driving a rack full of gear. It features both MIDI and Control Voltage connections for interfacing with all kinds of different hardware. Toolbox takes full advantage of the integrated 3.5″ touch screen to give immediate access to sequences, parameters, and events. The screen provides a full overview of all the active notes and events. It even offers touch based scrolling and zooming, just like a smart phone, to make editing easy and fun. Toolbox is a great way to be creative on your terms.

Toolbox runs on the same hardware as our Laserbox module. You can easily reprogram your module to run Laserbox firmware by registering at forum.1010music.com and downloading the firmware onto a microSC card. You can switch back and forth as needed, but only one firmware may run at one time.

Waverazor Dual Oscillator Module

The Waverazor Dual Oscillator is a result of a special collaboration between 1010music and MOK.

One Waverazor Eurorack oscillator can contain up to 8 wave slices, creating a multi-segment “Frankenstein” waveform that produces extended harmonic content beyond any single wave shape. Each individual slice has independent control over wave pitch, volume, phase and DC offset, allowing a single oscillator to contain a multitude of timbral colors. Even the “Razor” itself can be adjusted, with parameters for its own slice frequency, step size multiplier and duty cycle.

The Waverazor Dual Oscillator module provides a central waveform display that allows you to visualize the output. There’s an audio input for slicing up any sound you like. Four endless knobs make it possible to morph multiple parameters at once, while the touch screen enables X/Y performance controllers that allow you to manipulate the sound with the swipe of your finger. Top it all off with 20 modulation CV inputs for complete sonic insanity!

Laserbox – Pattern Generator for Lasers

With laserbox, you can drive a laser by generating patterns, using premade image wave files, or via CV signals received from other Eurorack modules. You can also use external CV signals to modulate the signals sent to the laser. You can use modulation to control the shape of the wave signal, the colors, the position of the projection, and the rotation of the projection. Laserbox lets you see the impact of your tweaks on the image by displaying a preview on screen. This allows you to design your laser show while the laser is disconnected, and save the settings you like as presets.

Laserbox runs on the same hardware as our toolbox module. You can easily reprogram your module to run toolbox firmware by registering at forum.1010music.com and downloading the firmware onto a microSD card. You can switch back and forth as needed, but only one firmware may run at one time.

  • Novation products, including the Launch Pad Pro

The MX4 includes two MIDI adapters to connect with any equipment using the MIDI standard, 5-pin DIN connector, two TRS cables for MIDI patching and a standard power ribbon cable for connecting to your eurorack.
